Ramblin' Rose
This is a large, private estate located in town, down a private lane. This is one of the largest private properties in the Historic District and was built by a well-known Nantucket artist. It has four separate bedroom areas and is ideal for large families or two families vacationing together.
The outdoor space includes a large deck and grassy lawns in front and back along with professional landscaping and perennial gardens. Teak outdoor furniture, market umbrella, steamer chairs with cushions and Weber gas grill are on a large deck in the private backyard.
This home is large and spread out, with lots of room for different activities. The main house has two large rooms for entertainment on the first floor, both have large TVs and one with working fireplace. There is also a dining room with table for 10-12 overlooking the backyard , separate breakfast room, new kitchen with granite counters, a powder room and a laundry room. One area has a desk witha Dell computer for general use. The entire property has wireless internet. The master suite is separate and up a few steps, includes a flat screen TV, king bed and sliding doors onto the outdoor deck. Ensuite bath with double vanity has a tub and shower.
There are two staircases to the second floor bedrooms - one goes to two bedrooms; large queen bedroom and a double bedroom with shared hall bath; the other staircase goes to a large bedroom with three twin beds and bathroom with shower. A separate cottage includes a charming open LR/DR/Kitchen area and separate bedroom with queen bed, one bathroom with shower.
